General Questions
Everything we do at Lord of Life centers on the message of what Jesus Christ has done for us.
We are a member of a worldwide Christian denomination called the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (www.wels.net). WELS operates the fourth largest private school system in the country.
No, you do not need to be a member.
However, your child will learn about what our church believes about the Bible. You might find it beneficial to take our Bible Information Class to learn more about what we believe and the principles upon which our school is built.
We strive to keep our student to teacher ratio as low as possible. Class sizes in grades 1-8 are limited to 21 students. Kindergarten class sizes are limited to 16 students. Our preschool ratio is 1:9 or less.
We perform our testing in the fall of each school year for grades 3-8. Although each child is unique, on average our students regularly perform at or above the national average for their grade levels.
Parents are encouraged to come and visit their child’s classroom. Simply reach out to your child's teacher to schedule a classroom visit.
Curriculum Questions
There will be homework at every grade level. The amount will change day to day and vary by grade level. You can expect your child to have some homework every day.
Lord of Life students are taught Spanish each week as part of the regular curriculum.
The school is equipped with a mobile lab consisting of Chromebook laptops for the students to use. Students are taught typing and general word processing skills. Teachers also will use computers in the classroom for in variety of other ways to enhance the learning experience.
Students are allowed to bring their own ChromeBooks to school, and the school is currently acquiring more ChromeBooks to supplement the laptops for classroom use.
If you are interested in buying your own ChromeBook, please visit Google’s ChromeBook site and purchase a model that best suits your child’s needs. All models are suitable for classroom usage.
Student Life Questions
No, Lord of Life does not require school uniforms, but does have a dress code policy in place as outlined in the School Handbook.
We have a limited hot lunch program that families can sign up for. On days without hot lunch, each student is required to bring their own lunch. There are microwaves in the lunchroom for the students to use.
We offer a variety of sports for the kids in grades 3-8 to participate in. Some of them include: Soccer, Cheerleading, Basketball, Track, and Volleyball.
We also teach the students many other sports skills in our Physical Education classes.
Students in grades 6-8 have the opportunity to participate in a middle school sports program for volleyball and basketball through our local Lutheran high school, Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School.

Lord of Life uses FACTS Management Company for its monthly tuition collection. Alternatively, parents can pay in full at the beginning of the school year, or make two semester payments.

Yes! Families receiving financial assistance from the Child Care Assistance Program may enroll their children in our preschool.

We do not have bussing. Parents need to drop off and pick up their children or arrange alternate transportation.
Yes, for an additional fee we provide before school care from 7:00-8:05am and after school care from 3:25-5:00pm.
